This smoke hatch skylight detail shows an aluminum frame with single dome glazing mounted on a minimum two-by-twelve wood curb with metal counter flashing. The assembly features a latch assembly, bulb gasket, exterior manual release, tension spring, and a UL/FM fusible link. A mid gutter is positioned between hatches with a hinge assembly, spring mount, and torsion spring. Curb anchors are installed as required by others, and a tapered perlite cricket is detailed on the high side of curbs twenty-four inches or wider with a forty-five degree slope.
