A structural-sealant-glazed curtain wall system transitions across an exterior seismic joint at a level 02 slab edge. Insulated glazing units and mineral wool insulation are backed by prefinished metal panels provided by the curtain wall manufacturer. An external seismic joint cover combines with internal reinforcement installed on each side of the joint. Sacrificial metal panels and an insulated mullion transition complete the movement joint assembly.
