About this detail

A foundation wall waterproofing compartmentalization system features pre-applied SCS composite sheet membrane installed against marine-grade plywood and wood lagging on steel piles. A waterstop is embedded in the concrete foundation wall with hydrophilic sealant applied as a one-inch fillet and extended onto the membrane. Detail tape and injection port assemblies are mechanically fastened outside the tape to control grout injection and compartmentalize the waterproofing layer. Protection board is placed adjacent to the shoring assembly, and excess fabric is trimmed prior to applying the construction joint tape.
