Mechanical equipment sits on a vibration isolator mounting above a fiberglass base sheet mechanically fastened over a modified bitumen membrane set into hot asphalt. A 24-gauge galvanized iron corrosion-resistant flashing pan is separated by a 3/4-inch wood shim, secured with a base flashing fastener at 6 inches on center. A 24-gauge galvanized iron one-piece counter-flashing is secured using a 3/8-inch head screw through a 5/8-inch steel and neoprene washer at 12 inches on center. TPO 60-mil roofing is mechanically fastened over 1/4-inch Securock over OSB sheathing over the roof structure. The 4x shaped wood curb is pressure-treated or Wolmanized, with wood 2x4 blocking spaced at 16 inches on center and a wood 2x6 cut to 4-inch width for a ledger on two sides. A 3/4-inch plywood sheathing covers the exterior of the curb, and hot-air welding seals the TPO membrane joints.
