A hollow metal door frame set within a metal stud partition includes a box beam header with typical king studs at the jamb. A quarter-inch shim space is provided at the perimeter, secured by three Z-jamb anchors per jamb. The assembly includes gypsum board finishes on both sides, acoustical insulation filled within acoustic partitions, and a smoke seal installed at rated walls.
