A one and one-half inch diameter steel handrail is primed and painted per specifications, with all welds ground smooth and pits filled as required. A one-quarter inch by three inch diameter steel plate welds to the handrail and secures to the concrete panel with three one-quarter inch by three inch expansion bolts spaced six feet on center and six inches from each end. The handrail returns to the wall with a one and one-half inch minimum clearance.
