The wall assembly sits on a wood sill plate with a sill gasket, secured above a concrete deck. Joint sealant and backer rod are applied at the perimeter joints of the wall base and the concrete slab. A J-runner track head is anchored below the concrete deck on the shaft side. The concrete deck spans between the corridor or unit side and the shaft.
