The assembly features galvanized steel pipe rails supported by vertical steel posts anchored into concrete stairs. The guardrail utilizes one-inch diameter steel pipes with eight equally spaced rails reaching a height of forty-two inches. The handrail features one-and-a-quarter to two-inch diameter steel pipe mounted on one-half inch diameter steel bar supports spaced at each vertical post with a handrail height of thirty-four inches. A three-inch weep hole is located at the base of each vertical rail to drain water if grouted into the concrete.
