A 4x4x1/4-inch tube steel column with a 1/4-inch cap plate is positioned adjacent to a concrete tilt-up trash enclosure wall. A number 4 rebar is welded to the tube steel post per structural drawings, with a footing located below. A 2x2x1/4-inch steel angle gate frame connects to the post via 2x2x1/4-inch steel hinges welded to the gate frame and tube steel post, requiring a minimum of three per gate leaf and a 180-degree opening. A 16-gauge by 1-1/2-inch galvanized corrugated metal gate attaches to the gate frame.
