A custom extruded 1-1/4-inch stainless steel corner guard, 1/8-inch and 14-gauge thick, protects the exterior wall corner finished with wood-look panels and tile. The assembly is built over metal framing with runner tracks and 5/8-inch gypsum board. Wood-look panels are hung using a manufacturer cleat hanging system supported by wood blocking as required. Adjacent tile is set in a thinset mortar bed over a cementitious backer unit.
