A 1-5/8 inch by 1-5/8 inch horizontal Unistrut P1000 channel attaches directly to the underside of a metal deck with structural concrete fill using three 3/8 inch diameter drilled-in Hilti KB-TZ anchors centered in the bottom flute. A 1/2 inch diameter threaded hanger rod drops from a channel stiffener and attaches to the P1000 channel with a channel nut. An adjustable Unistrut P1843 brace angle provides lateral bracing at a 45 degree maximum angle. The assembly secures to a concrete wall using two 3/8 inch diameter drilled-in expansion anchors and a 4 inch by 3 inch by 1/4 inch by 6 inch long metal angle, or to a metal frame partition using two number 14 self-tapping screws fastened to a type C backing plate.
