A 7/8-inch Pyrostop vision glass panel is installed within a 1-3/4-inch solid core wooden door using a 20-gauge painted low-profile steel frame and fastener screws. The frame setup includes precise dimensional clearances and tolerances for the glass size, door cutout, and overall frame outside diameter. This assembly provides a fire-rated vision lite in wood stairwell doors.
