An aluminum alloy T-mold transition strip connects adjacent scheduled carpet or walk-off mat flooring finishes. The flooring transition aligns directly with the centerline of the door leaf above. The finish floor build-up assembly varies as necessary to achieve a flush transition between the adjoining floor surfaces.
