A four-inch concrete sidewalk bears upon a dense graded crushed aggregate base course over a compacted soil subgrade, with thicknesses and specifications coordinated with the geotechnical report and civil drawings. An integral concrete curb is formed along the outer edge of the walkway. Aggregate and subgrade layers extend beneath both the sidewalk slab and the curb section for consistent foundation support.
