A thirteen gauge by three-quarter inch wide ceiling clip is fastened to the underside of the structural slab using a shot-in anchor. A vertical hanger wire connects to the clip with a minimum of three tight turns in one and one-half inches at both ends. The assembly hangs below a minimum twenty gauge metal decking with two and one-half inches of concrete topping. One out of every ten anchors must be tested for two hundred pounds in tension.
