This plan detail shows a stainless steel corner guard and wall protection assembly installed at a security portal end post. The partition is constructed with double cold-formed steel studs framing five-eighths inch gypsum board, with sealant applied at the guard junction. A three-and-a-half-inch Activar CGSS stainless steel corner guard wraps the corner assembly adjacent to the security portal end post and LED indicator.
