The stair landing frame consists of a channel with mitered and welded corners, reinforced with typical three-quarter-inch steel plate stiffeners per structural drawings. Steel uprights are welded to the face of the channel, while a mesh panel and frame are installed per the manufacturer. A three-quarter-inch steel plate and hanger rod are welded to the channel per structural requirements below the landing above. Dimensions reference the inside face of the channel and centerline spacing.
