A 600T300-54 cold-formed steel deflection channel attaches to the underside of the roof deck using two number ten sheet metal screws at twenty-four inches on center. The top of the metal stud wall fits into the deflection channel with metal end beads installed on each side. Stud size and spacing are sized per the wall types schedule, and wall sheathing is applied where specified.
