A ceiling clip manufactured by Hilti or approved equal fastens directly to the underside of a concrete slab or metal deck at the centerline of the flute. A vertical hanger wire passes downward through a 12-gauge wire wrapped with three tight turns. A number 10 self-tapping sheet metal screw secures through the electrical metallic tubing with a maximum five-eighths inch clearance.
