A 1.5-inch stainless steel round foot rail is supported by a 5/8-inch solid stainless steel round vertical stem welded to a base plate. The vertical stem passes through carpeting and is anchored to a concrete slab and wood floor assembly. A stainless steel saddle is welded to a 1-inch tube, and a stainless steel closure is provided at the end of the tubular assembly.
