This interior partition assembly is framed with six-inch cold-formed metal studs spaced according to structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation is fitted tightly within the stud cavity to reduce acoustic transmission. Both sides of the framing are finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum wall board, with final wall finishes applied as scheduled in the interior elevations.
