A cast-iron roof drain pipe passes through a tilt-up concrete wall and routes downward into a horizontal drain pipe with an elbow fitting. Bentonite clay waterstopping is wrapped around the entire pipe at the penetration, supplemented by clear silicon sealant at the slab interface. Silicon sealant and backer rod are applied on the interior face of the wall joint, and grout or concrete repacking seals the opening around the pipe. A concrete surface outside the wall connects to the assembly, with finishing and grades referenced to the site plan.
