An access panel is integrated into a gypsum board furred wall assembly framed with wood studs. The metal mount frame secures the metal access panel, which features a door handle and is held in place with a door catch. Two fifty-millimeter hinges per gypsum wallboard manufacturer requirements are welded to the metal frames.
