This assembly features a through-wall scupper outlet integrated into a parapet wall. The roof system consists of polyisocyanurate insulation tapered to the drain, topped with a cover board and a field-applied membrane. The membrane is secured at the parapet with stress plates and fasteners spaced at twelve inches on center, with flashing lapped down onto the roof membrane. A twenty-gauge metal upstand provides a minimum four-inch vertical rise, protected by metal counter flashing and sealant tooled to drain. The parapet is constructed with pressure-treated wood blocking and mineral fiber batt insulation, with vapor barrier flashing adhered to the wall and backer flashing installed behind the metal cladding.
