The shaft wall partition terminates at a concrete deck using a slotted J-track mechanically fastened at a maximum of twenty-four inches on center. A one-half-inch fire sealant approved by the Underwriters Laboratories assembly is applied at the deck edge form. Two-hour spray fireproofing and elastomeric spray firestop are installed at rated assemblies per manufacturer instructions. The partition type and subtype are completed as scheduled.
