The assembly consists of a six-inch diameter steel pipe roof anchor extending through the roof deck and anchored to the steel column below. The pipe features a steel plate cap and a steel tie-off loop at the top. A stainless steel clamping ring and rain hood are installed at the roof surface to maintain a watertight seal. The roof system penetration is finished with sealant over the membrane roofing. The structural support includes a bearing plate at the column top, with roof joists and girders framing into the column assembly.
