The transition between a curtain wall system and an interior wood stud wall occurs at curtain wall mullions, identified as CW-1, which feature factory-applied gaskets at the interface with the interior finish. Interior plywood panels are face-fastened to the wood framing, with fasteners countersunk and filled with wood filler at 12 inches on center. The assembly maintains a 7 1/4 inch spacing between the curtain wall mullions and the adjacent wall construction.
