The gate latch assembly consists of three 3/4-inch diameter steel pipe segments, each 1 inch long, welded to the gate frame to serve as guides for a 5/8-inch diameter by 8-inch long steel pin latch with a 4-inch handle. The cane bolt assembly utilizes 3/4-inch diameter by 2-inch long steel pipe guides welded to the gate to secure two 5/8-inch diameter by 10-inch minimum length steel cane bolts, each featuring a 2-inch handle. All steel components are painted to match the gate finish. The cane bolts engage the ground with a 2-inch embedment depth, maintaining a 1/2-inch gap between the gate leaves.
