An extended shear tab connection is detailed at a structural steel column with internal stiffener plates welded to the flanges and web. The assembly incorporates a five-sixteenth-inch minimum plate measuring twelve and three-quarters by three and seven-eighths inches for the stiffeners, along with similar half-inch minimum plate elements at grid fifteen.
