Type 1 connects a three-inch square by three-sixteenth-inch steel tube upper post and lower post to a four-inch square by seven-sixteenth-inch stainless steel tube post base, set over a one-inch by one-and-one-half-inch steel bar rail and a precast concrete fence curb using five-eighth-inch diameter stainless steel through bolts. Type 2 details an intermediate post connection utilizing three-inch square steel posts, one-quarter-inch by one-and-one-half-inch steel angles, and continuous welds ground smooth. All joints are finished with continuous welds ground smooth, stainless steel collars, and caulk at the sealant joints.
