Door lever hardware is mounted between thirty-four inches and forty-four inches above the finished floor, with a maximum clearance of one-half inch from the handle rose to the door surface. Anchor plates secure the hardware assembly to adjacent studs with typical maximum spacings of twelve inches and minimum spacings of forty-eight inches.
