The assembly consists of a 1 1/2 inch thick solid wood counter supported by 3/8 inch thick steel plate brackets concealed within the wall. These brackets are fastened back to the wall studs at 30 inches on center, with the bracket leg pocketed into the underside of the wood counter. The contractor is responsible for determining the final location and quantity of supports, ensuring the assembly is designed to support 500 pounds. All interior surfaces are finished with PLAM-4 plastic laminate, and vertical surfaces are scribed to the floor. Surface-mounted electrical outlets are provided per specifications and coordinated with the electrical trade.
