This assembly consists of a tempered plate glass panel with polished edges seated into a glass handrail base shoe. The glass panel rests on ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber setting blocks within the base shoe, which is then secured with quickset cement. The base shoe is fastened to the supporting structure using connection screws. An upper cap rail is provided to finish the top edge of the glass panel.
