A steel pipe handrail mounts to a concrete wall using a Wagner Style B handrail bracket secured by three quarter-inch diameter by two-inch drive nails. An alternative metal stud wall assembly utilizes a Wagner Style B handrail bracket secured by three number twelve self-drilling screws fastened to a minimum sixteen gauge steel backing plate. The handrail projects one and one-half inches clear from the face of the wall.
