The assembly consists of a 1 1/4-inch nominal pipe size steel pipe guardrail mounted on vertical steel balusters, positioned 3 feet 6 inches above the nosing or floor. A separate 1 1/4-inch nominal pipe size steel pipe handrail is supported by a 3/8-inch steel bracket attached to the baluster. The handrail maintains a 1 1/2-inch clear distance from the baluster and is positioned 3 feet 0 inches above the nosing or floor. Balusters extend beyond the guardrail assembly.
