This assembly utilizes a custom Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) pipe boot installed over a roof penetration, secured to the single-ply TPO roofing membrane with adhesive per manufacturer requirements. The base of the boot is mechanically fastened to the roof deck using fasteners and heavy-duty seam plates spaced at a maximum of 12 inches on center. A stainless steel clamping ring secures the top of the boot, finished with a continuous bead of TPO all-purpose sealant. Vertical seams require a 2-inch minimum welded splice, with 4-inch by 4-inch TPO flashing patches applied at all T-joint overlaps and vertical transitions. Cut edge sealant must be applied to any exposed scrim reinforcement edges.
