The hollow metal door sill bears on a concrete floor slab sloping down one-half inch from the finish floor elevation at twenty-four inches away from the door, with a tooled edge provided sweep at all exterior doors and a half-inch expansion joint at the exterior concrete apron per site plan. The door frame extends one inch below the finish floor. The overhead door jamb consists of a three-sixteenths-inch thick panel edge guard five feet high from the finish floor painted to match the building, anchored to the concrete tilt-up panel with five-eighths-inch by six-inch welded stud anchors at twelve inches on center. A three-eighths-inch bent plate four-foot high Z-bar track protector with bottom flange painted yellow is secured with three two-and-a-half-inch minimum expansion bolts at the wall and one two-and-a-half-inch minimum depth expansion bolt at the floor, with caulk as required. Overhead door jamb hardware and mounting is installed per manufacturer specifications with four number-three bars welded to the front and back, supporting a twenty-two gauge three-inch track with seven inches of clearance and a six-inch chamfer Z-guard at top at forty-five degrees.
