An interior wall assembly terminates at a suspended acoustical ceiling system with a perimeter angle. Five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board clads the stud framing, which extends to meet the ceiling plane. The acoustical tile ceiling suspension system hangs from wire ties anchored above, terminating at the wall with edge trim. A maximum eight-inch dimension governs the framing layout relative to the ceiling junction.
