A post-stub-horizontal connection anchors to a W8 roof screen post with 1/4-inch stiffener plates welded on three sides. An HSS6x6 and HSS6x4 structural tube frame ties into the assembly, capped with a 1/2-inch cap plate welded with complete joint penetration (CJP) welds and field weld symbols. Additional framing includes an HSS4x4 vertical member where specified, with various 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch fillet welds joining the steel components.
