An automatic drapery track system mounts to required backing rails within a recessed ceiling pocket adjacent to existing storefront glass. The six-inch wide pocket is framed with gypsum board and finished with metal corner beads, featuring a trim edge painted to match the ceiling. Drapery material hangs from the motorized track to a maximum clearance of one-half inch above the floor finish.
