A 3/4 inch by 1 1/2 inch stainless steel bar stock post supports a 1 1/2 inch diameter stainless steel pipe handrail at a height of 36 inches above the finished floor. The post connects to a base plate secured to the structural slab using expansion anchors. A fluid-applied vapor barrier runs beneath the base plate assembly below a 4 inch concrete topping slab. The top of the bar stock features a 3/4 inch radius with 1/8 inch reveals at the pipe connection.
