A wall-mounted sound enhancement and playback system speaker with a maximum weight of ninety pounds is attached to a cold-formed metal stud wall constructed per structural drawings. The unit is secured using number 12 by 2-inch Hilti Kwik Pro SDS screws with washers at each panel corner, requiring a minimum of two places per speaker. Wood or metal backing is provided per detail 3/SF5.40 at each anchor location, with a minimum of two locations per speaker. Electrical routing consists of a 5S backbox with a 3/4-inch conduit containing speaker and antenna cables as required, routed to the APA system or as indicated on the drawings. The bottom of the speaker is positioned at a minimum height of 80 inches above finished floor.
