Precast concrete wall panels feature a 3/4-inch typical chamfer at the edges with a joint sealant over recommended joint backing. For fire-rated walls, dymeric sealant is installed over Cerablanket F-S at varying depths of 1-1/2 inches for a one-hour wall, 3 inches for a two-hour wall, 4 inches for a three-hour wall, and 4-1/2 inches for a four-hour wall. An alternate condition is provided at the butt end per floor plans.
