A crane rail is secured to the supporting structural steel beam using opposing pairs of rail clips spaced at a maximum of two feet on center. A one-half inch by one-half inch by four-inch long crane rail stop bar is welded to the beam following rail installation, positioned one foot from the end. Rail clips are installed per specification and referenced to detail sheet 3.S-522 for specific weld requirements.
