A conduit or piping penetration passes through a structural deck plate sized per structural drawings. A one-piece metal escutcheon surrounds the pipe or conduit at the floor surface. Continuous seals are applied around the perimeter of the penetration and the escutcheon plate. Resilient flooring is installed where applicable up to the assembly.
