A single-ply membrane is installed over rigid insulation and roof sheathing, which is supported by a metal roof truss. The membrane lap joint is secured with fastener plates and fasteners installed per the manufacturer's instructions. A continuous bead of sealant is applied at the lap joint with specified minimum clearances of one and one-half inches and one-half inch.
