This assembly features a 2-foot wide concrete mow strip positioned between a lawn area and asphalt paving. The mow strip has a depth of 6 inches and sits atop a base of 12 inches of compacted granular fill. The adjacent asphalt paving is also supported by the same compacted granular fill layer. The entire assembly rests on compacted native soil, which is to be verified per the project geotechnical report.
