This new stair guardrail assembly consists of a wood railing and 4x4 posts finished with paint, anchored adjacent to wood stair treads and stringers. A finish grade plywood panel serves as the guard infill, secured with black rubber square head screws and bolts. The plywood is positioned to maintain a maximum four-inch gap in any location to meet safety requirements. The assembly terminates at the finish floor, which is specified in the finish schedule.
