An aluminum door frame connects to a metal framed wall with continuous sealant beads at the interior and exterior joints. The aluminum frame secures an insulated glass unit and a door panel. Flashing and caulking are required for a complete weather-resistant seal. A caulk and paint finish completes the interior transition to the wall assembly.
