This assembly manages a warm pipe penetration through a roof deck consisting of a steel roof deck topped with insulation and treated wood nailers. A metal collar is installed around the pipe and secured to the roof surface, where the single-ply roofing membrane is integrated using a hot air weld at the base flange. The vertical portion of the metal collar is sealed against the pipe using a stainless steel draw band and mastic. A metal flashing and clamp assembly is positioned above the draw band, with sealant applied at the top interface to ensure a watertight seal. The flashing maintains a minimum vertical height of eight inches above the roof surface.
